Styling COVET Magazine is always so much fun, but even better when the person you’re styling is top model and one time Australia’s Next Top Model runner-up Sophie Van Den Akker.

Photographer Anthony Licuria’s (APL Photography) brief was conservative vamp, so I immediately envisaged leather. For those that have been following my style of late, I’m hearting monochrome and leather so was so excited about this shoot.

Issue 15 of COVET won’t be available until August 2013, but I had to share these behind the scenes snaps of our ‘Dark Princess’shoot.

Last week I had a lot of fun styling fashionista and blogger Rozalia Russian for the forthcoming issue of COVET Magazine. Roza’s style is quite directional and fashion forward, so having just returned for New York I was excited to work with someone who would be happy to push some fashionable boundaries.

I looked no further than Ganache Boutique in Port Melbourne for exquisite pieces and had a lot of fun selecting from the new Autumn/Winter Collections. Big thank you also to Two Hands Agency for Tony Bianco, Megan Todd at Knots & Knits and Sass & Bide.

Busy week styling DJ, Musician and TV presenter Ruby Rose for the newly re-branded COVET Magazine photographed by Anthony Licuria of APL Photography. Ruby Rose known for her extensive body of work, very cool tattoos and stunning face looked effortlessly chic during todays shoot. Accompanied by her beloved dog Daisy, Ruby Rose shut it down in designer fashion but was just as comfortable if not more so, in her Everlast boxing gear. Another one of her growing lists of talents.

With Ruby and fabulous fashion, the centre of attention, designers on display included Josh Goot, Camilla & Marc,  Nicholas and Michael Lo Sordo all available from fashion favourite Green With Envy, to Manning Cartell, Belluccio and Thurley to name just a few.

COVET Austalia featuring Ruby Rose’s fashion editorial feature will be availble 1 Devember 2012.

A natural in front of the camera, and a style star in her own right, the gorgeous Alex Davis, partner of AFL star, Collingwood’s Scott Pendlebury, is absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to work with. I thought I’d share a behind the scenes look of Alex posing with COVET Magazine’s Anthony Licuria of APL Photpgraphy.

Before the torrential rain came last Tuesday, I was styling the beautiful Miss World Australia, Amber Greasley for COVET Magazine, out 30 August. The second time I’ve been a contributor to this fabulously on-trend online mag, I thought I’d give you a sneak peek behind the scenes…

I sported my silk Sass & Bide pants and Zara jacket for the day, that were literally saturated with rain post the shoot. That said, I couldn’t have had more fun with the COVET team; super photographer Anthony Licuria of APL Photography, make up artist Renee Zanelli and hair stylist Sash of Biba Camberwell. And of course, the easy going and professional Amber Greasely, who Melbournians are lucky to call their own having just moved from Brisbane.
